The long-awaited one millionth building sale for Tuff Shed, Inc., America’s leading supplier of storage buildings and garages, has now been set in the history books. The building was sold on Friday November 10, 2017 to a customer in Santa Rosa, Calif.
The record breaking building was purchased by Richard Keenan, a Santa Rosa wine grower and owner of the famous Kick Ranch vineyard. The building is actually a replacement for his original Tuff Shed building, which was destroyed by recent California wildfires. Keenan purchased his original Tuff Shed building back in 2003. Longtime Tuff Shed Sales Consultant Jerry Thompson sold both the original building and the replacement buildings to Mr. Keenan. Like Mr. Keenan and so many area residents, Tuff Shed’s Thompson also was impacted by the wildfires, having been evacuated from his home for eight days.
“All of Tuff Shed is excited about our one millionth building,” says Pat Daily, GM for Tuff Shed’s Santa Rosa factory. “To have that building sold and built out of Santa Rosa is amazing, especially in light of what the local community here and our local Tuff Shed team have been through recently.”
Keenan’s new building will replace his original 10×12 Premier Ranch storage shed. To help mark the historic sale, Tuff Shed upgraded the building to its top of the line Premier PRO Series, and also presented Keenan with a $1,000 gift card to The Home Depot. Tuff Shed will install the building on Keenan’s property in the coming weeks.
A network of 48 Tuff Shed manufacturing facilities allow the company to service customers across 36 states. Assortments of Tuff Shed storage buildings, garages and recreational buildings are on display across the country in 126 Tuff Shed factory-direct locations (including the factory locations) as well as in nearly 1,400 Home Depot stores.
TUFF SHED products include wooden backyard storage sheds, larger commercial storage buildings, garages and cabin shells. The company works with its customers to design and accessorize buildings, then pre-fabricates key building components at its manufacturing facilities so it can deliver and install buildings on the customer site.
