The first thing Karen did in her brand-new urban barn was dance in it.

Karen’s 10 x 12 Premier Tall Barn was installed about six months ago, and we had the opportunity to catch up with her and see how she’s transformed her backyard building from an empty urban barn to the ultimate outdoor storage solution.
“It’s been so great to have a new shed,” said Karen. “Previously I didn’t have a lot of storage in my backyard. I needed space for all my garden tools, outdoor gear, and chicken supplies. Now I’m able to fit everything I need in my Tuff Shed—and more!”

“All the Tuff Shed additions are great, but the ladder I added allows me to get to the overhead loft easily and safely,” said Karen. “I installed extra shelving on the pegboard for even more storage, and bike hooks to the loft so I can keep my bikes accessible but out of the way.”

Not only is Karen’s building an efficient, organized space for her outdoor needs, it’s also a hangout spot.
“One thing I really didn’t expect when I got a Tuff Shed was how much I’d like spending time in my barn,” said Karen. “But who wouldn’t want to hang out in there? It’s a beautiful and spacious place where I can work and do activities I love.”

“My old shed is made of plastic and already warping,” said Karen. “But my Tuff Shed is built to last, it’s durable and functional. There’s plenty of space for all my items, and I know it’ll be standing for a long time.”
