Set Up for Snacking

It’s no secret that our Tuff Shed teams look forward to design challenges. When faced with a unique use or idea for the design of a building, they work to deliver on all fronts. This snack bar for Milken Schools in Los Angeles, California certainly fits the bill for custom additions.

Starting with a 12×30 Lean-To, the team added two custom transom windows to the front and a steel access door on the side of the snack bar. They also left openings for the air conditioning unit and custom sliding windows to be added after installation.

In order to match the style of the snack bar to other buildings on school grounds, the Milken maintenance team installed a flagstone façade and soffit lighting. Additionally, they added custom sliding windows and a front counter to accommodate students in search of a quick snack between classes. When it comes to the uses for Tuff Shed buildings, it seems that the sky is the limit.
